 Zuri was a selection the universe knew we needed, even if she wasn't our original choice. Her presence has filled our lives with joy, and we hold her in the highest regard. Zuri's love for long walks and pup cups at the store all while knowing how to protect the homestead,  is a testament to the special place she holds in our hearts and a reflection of the temperament of her breed. When it comes to Zuri it’s the individuality and attributes that we grew to love and appreciate her for because personality and bonds are priceless compared to things a dog like zuri inherits like carrying the fabled "Blue" gene for example.

Introducing Princess Marli, a powerhouse of muscle and personality in our South African Mastiff family. Despite suffering a near amputation due to a bone infection at 5 months old she has persevered and even appraised slightly above average and now at three years old, Marli combines brawn and brains in a way that's uniquely her own. While she may have the physical strength to protect her territory, her territorial instincts also give her a bit of a mischievous side. 

However, it's precisely this spirited personality that makes her a standout among her peers. Marli's zest for life knows no bounds, and she's at her happiest when she's out and about. She absolutely adores long walks and has an uncontainable enthusiasm for running through cornfields, with  energy that’s seemingly boundless.

Nevertheless what truly sets Pheonix apart is her insatiable curiosity. She's a born explorer, always eager to embark on new adventures around the homestead with her most preferred playmates.

Allow us to introduce you to Christolyst Rouge, a South African Mastiff with a personality that unveils itself in distinct layers. While at home with her family, Rouge exhibits a timid and submissive nature, showcasing her gentle disposition and affectionate character. However, step into the public domain or witness her interactions with fellow dogs, and you'll encounter a different side of this remarkable canine.

This Boerboels agility and patience are second nature to her compared to the rest of the breed, traits that many train years master for real application she uses to her advantage in her natural habitat instinctually as she is far superior to most besides the fact she’s been natural bird dog/hunter since she was just a pup.

Rouge's beautiful coat, adorned with an array of red shades, isn't just for aesthetics. It serves as the perfect camouflage as she hunts , reminiscent of the Boerboels bred in South Africa to protect homesteads from wildlife threats using camouflage to their advantage. Meet Christolyst Loki, a true reflection of the mischievous god he was named after, embodying a duality that is both endearing and at times, a source of calamity. Loki is the kind of dog who effortlessly gets along with everyone when he's surrounded by his family and pack, where his boundless energy and playful spirit make him resemble a gigantic puppy. 

However, when left to his own devices, Loki transforms into a vigilant guardian, always in protection mode. While Loki may not hold the title for the heaviest dog in our pack, he's unquestionably the tallest South African Mastiff on our little Boerboel Island, which is an impressive feat for a dog who is only 1.5 years old. 

At 173 pounds, he defies expectations with his agility, outpacing many of his peers despite his size and despite the occasional mischief he stirs, we eagerly anticipate Loki's continued development as he fills out and matures into his adult body over the next year and a half. His unique blend of playfulness and protective instincts adds a vibrant dimension to our pack, and we look forward to watching him grow into a remarkable example of the South African Mastiff breed.
